After rapid growth, the founder of a global consultancy was heading towards burnout. The intense, high-stakes nature of their work — often mission-critical for clients — had led to a culture of over-responsibility. The founder was exhausted, working unsustainable hours, and struggling to delegate. Relationships, wellbeing and decision-making were all under strain.
Andy worked with the founder to identify the behaviours contributing to burnout and implement change at both personal and organisational levels. Together they addressed pricing, delegation, recruitment, and internal expectations — building what Andy calls a “healthy leadership rhythm.” The focus was on sustainability: creating boundaries, reinforcing trust in others, and rebalancing the founder’s role.
The founder has re-established a healthier way of working, enabling them to lead without self-sacrifice. The leadership team has grown stronger, recruitment is more targeted, and the consultancy is now better structured for growth — with the founder showing up as a more resilient and effective leader.
